Junior Ballet and Tap

These classes teach children good dance technique, the foundations of ballet and tap.  Once the students reach the required standard they have the opportunity to take ISTD & IDTA examinations.  It is strongly recommend that all children take these combination classes as they teach the foundations that are used across all styles of dance.

Junior Musical Theatre and Drama

This class combines singing, drama & dance.  The children learn singing techniques and performance skills through working in a team and have the chance to practise the skills learnt in the school's annual show. During the drama section of the class, children develop key skills to build confidence and individuality through drama games, improvisation and monologues.  Students also have the opportunity to take LAMDA drama exams.

Street Dance

Street dance is fast paced and is perfect for children who love to dance to the latest sounds.  They will learn routines both as an individual and in a group.  This is a great opportunity for the students to be creative and build confidence whilst having lots of fun.

Junior Jazz & Acro Dance

This is a fun, progressive class where the children work on developing their flexibility, strength and strong technique as well as working on dance routines.  This is perfect for children who love to dance to the latest chart and pop music.  Acro Dance is a combination of the artistic qualities of dance and the athleticism of acrobatics.  Children also cover IDTA syllabus work to develop strength and technique.  We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus in Acro Dance.

Junior Performance Team (invitation only)

The performance teams work on flexibility, strength and presentation.  Students have the opportunity to perform at events throughout the year.  They perform in the opening and closing numbers in the school's annual show.  If you would like your child to be considered for the junior performance team.
