What our Parents Say!

We recently invited our parents to share their thoughts and experiences of DTA through our parent survey. Their feedback gives us a valuable insight into what makes DTA special to our families, from building confidence and friendships to creating a welcoming environment where every student feels included and has the opportunity to shine. We’re delighted to share some of their comments with you.

My child is often quiet and lacks confidence around new people, but learning new routines and taking part in the annual show has given her a sense of pride and the ability to interact with people more confidently.

There's so much!  Excellent standards that result in amazing achievements and performances.  But I think it's the ethos of the school as a large family and the importance DTA places on the mental well being of the children that is its top strength.

I think it's such a lovely friendly dance school.  You hear about other schools being really strict and clicky but DTA isn't like that.

I feel DTA is good at building confidence, fostering a genuine love for movement, and ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to shine.

As an only child having older girls to look up to and who talk to her and inspire her.  When struggles socially at school she always reflects that she has her dancing friends who are always there for her.

The annual show is something DTA does particularly well and is a real highlight.  It is a fantastic opportunity for the children to perform and showcase their hard work.

DTA includes everyone, including during the show, the whole class no matter the ability.

Improving my daughter's skills in a supportive environment, the opportunities to perform on many different stages, her friends and teachers.
